Building Management & Maintenance Services

Building Management and Maintenance Services are Property Management Programs for facilities owned or leased and managed by Infrastructure.  The Basic Master Specifications include technical and non-technical re-occurring maintenance services typical in building management and maintenance programs.  The contracting opportunities for Building Management & Maintenance Services with an estimated contract value of $75,000 or greater are publicly advertised on Alberta Purchasing Connection.  Alberta Infrastructure uses one of the following methods for the procurement of Services:

For Building Management & Maintenance Services with an estimated value of $75,000 thousand or greater, a tender notice is publically advertised on Alberta Purchasing Connection.

For Building Management & Maintenance Services with an estimated value below $75,000, a predetermined, limited number of Vendors are invited, based on demonstrated expertise, to submit a bid.

  • Two stage Process – In stage one, a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is publically advertise on Alberta Purchasing Connection to shortlist or prequalify Vendors based on qualifications and experience. In stage two, the shortlisted or prequalified vendors are invited to submit a bid in response to an Invitational tender.
